Club Alfa Romeo had a day at the race track, and this time at Knutstorp in Skåne. It was partly that the members get to try banåkning and partly that the experienced drivers pappas with very potent "raceralfor" competing in a cup is going on during the summer. Today's "talking point" was the harsh sound control of noise emitted by the cars that were made during the run.
I met Lennart Jonsson, who drove all the way from Prince Daniel's growing regions, Ockelbo. Guessing that Lennart was the most long-distance guest on today banmöte in Club Alfa Romeo Svezia. He told me that his Alfa Romeo Alfetta by model year 1984 rolled somewhat amazing 450 000 km!
Met my good Alfa Romeo friends Hasse Bjurman who drove from Gävle and Jens Roos who drove from Stockholm. Both are a great combination of talented racing driver and car builder. This day was not really the cars together. Hasse trashed gearbox while Jens Alfa GTV, s pistons haunted and they both had to pack up and go home and screw for the next race.
